I don't like when people ask if I've been able to talk to Zachary recently and I say no, his email has been out for a while and THIS is their response:

"Well, you're lucky they get to email at all... it used to be the wives had to wait for letters."

First of all, I wasn't complaining- you asked and second... when the wives were waiting for letters, the technology was not as advanced as it is now.  So if we wives were still waiting for letters with the technology at the stage it is now, there would be a real, real problem.  However... the technology is there but our world is so messed up that they have to have communication cut off so that they aren't tempted to communicate to us about what's going on on their ship.

I'm going to just start answering, "yep, talked to him yesterday and he's doing great!"
